The basis of the Laboratory of Tourism Potentials is integration and promotion of the realisation of innovative ideas in tourism with the use of new technologies. The basis is the experience of the established project ‘Bank of Tourism Potentials’ in Slovenia (BTPS), recipient of numerous international awards and certificates (World Tourism Organisation, European Commission, OECD and Nordic Innovation Centre). The successful practice of the BTPS is upgraded with additional incentives for the users of the tourism-lab.eu portal, such as counselling, experiments, incubation as well as expansion of operations in the area of border regions in Italy and Slovenia.
Duration of the project: 36 months, from 10 November 2011 to 9 November 2014.
