Na Ministrstvu za gospodarski razvoj in tehnologijo je zopet objavljen razpis za spodbujanje uvajanja in implementacije EU marjetice v turističnih nastanitvenih objektih. Razpis je vreden 49.000€, z njim pa želijo spodbuditi turistična podjetja k ekeološko usmerjenim procesom in uvajanju ekološkega managementa v svojih objektih, predvsem s pomočjo ekoloških standardov. Namenjen je podjetjem, ki so že pridobila EU marjetico.

Podjetja bodo, v kolikor bodo izbrana, lahko iz sklada črpala 80% stroškov za svetovalne storitve, promocijo turistične ponudbe obrata, ki si je prislužil marjetico in promocijo naziva samega. Prijavitelj lahko iz sklada dobi največ 7000€, odpiranja vlog pa bodo 21. 3. 2013, 3. 6. 2013 in 16. 9. 2013.

Prvi objekt, ki si je v Sloveniji prislužil naziv EU Marjetica so Terme Snovik.
